Bennie's Italian Food in Marion Illinois is a local delight. Friendly attentive staff, delicious tasty food, and good wine. The restaurant is spacious and has a beautiful upstairs view. I got the salmon dinner. My daughter got a baked potato. My love got the Cannelloni florentine. All was tasty and delicious. Our server gave my daughter 4 quarters to get a toy from the change machine. She asked before giving it to her as well. I thought it was very nice of her so we tipped her good. 5 stars all day!! 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

Bennie's is a great place for informal, Italian dining. There are not many restaurants in the area that serve Italian food. The cannelloni and lasagna are very good. There is plenty on the menu for those who aren't interested in Italian food, too. We enjoy the pieces of bread served with spiced olive oil when dining after 5:00 pm. The murals on the walls add a little flavor to the restaurant. I've never failed to find Bennie's clean and the service good. If there is an event at the Marion Civic Center, you may experience a wait before being seated. It is a very popular place to dine for those events as they are a short walk from one another.

A pleasant surprise! We were just passing through Marion looking for a place to eat and this looked good. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, food came out fast. All three of us enjoyed our dishes: chicken Parmesan, eggplant Parmesan, and shrimp Alfredo. Good stuff! 👍
